Becky Fawcett, founder of Help us Adopt hosted a fundraiser at the Veronica Beard Suburban Square  on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  A discussion was led by Becky about the relevancy of the organization and what it accomplishes. In a nutshell, the organization helps hard-working families overcome the financial obstacles of adoption so that children can join loving and permanent homes. Families must include a valid home study and a copy of their tax return with their completed application and personal statement. If a grant is awarded, funds are released to adoption professionals (adoption lawyers and adoption agencies) when an invoice is due. They raise funds primarily through private donations and fundraising events in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. Donors to Helpusadopt.org are caring people who simply want to help build happy families for every child. Veronica Beard is an elevated American ready-to-wear brand that strikes the balance between cool and classic. The brand provides a modern perspective on iconic wardrobe pieces and delivers a lifestyle offering that has expanded to include jeans and shoes.  Shopping was optional — there was no pressure to buy –  Help us Adopt supporters and friends attended the event.
