On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Peter’s Place hosted  Constellations: A Night of Shining Stars, its largest annual fundraising event, at Aronimink Golf Club. Guests joined Peter’s Place for an elegant evening of cocktails, dinner, live auction, and Raise Your Paddle.

Andy Walsh, Board Emeritus, was recognized at the event for his leadership, endless passion, and commitment, while also celebrating Peter’s Place and increasing awareness of its mission to provide support for grieving children and families.

Peter’s Place reaches thousands of lives through grief support groups each year. Peter’s Place does not charge for its support services and depends on funds raised at special events, as well as contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations, to fulfill its mission. The funds raised by Constellations: A Night of Shining Stars help to ensure that no child or family is turned away for financial reasons.

Since 2001, Peter’s Place has been committed to providing supportive environments for grieving children and families. Each year, peer support groups offered at Peter’s Place’s Radnor center and in schools throughout the Philadelphia five-county area reach hundreds of children and caregivers. In addition to direct support, Peter’s Place works to foster understanding of grief and its effects through education and research. Peter’s Place does not charge a fee for any peer support groups, ensuring that services are accessible to all who need them.
