Philadelphia French Heritage Society hosts Bastille Day Party
The French Heritage Society Philadelphia Chapter held its traditional Bastille Day Party at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Chestnut Hill on Sunday, July 14, 2024. The event featured French wine, live music and song and a seated dinner. The French Heritage Society and its generous supporters have helped preserve historic French architecture in France and the United States for nearly 40 years. They help organize educational exchanges between the U.S. and France and promote French-American friendship.
Event proceeds will support restoration grants selected by the FHS Philadelphia Chapter. For 2024, the Philadelphia Chapter has pledged to raise $11,000 for restoration grants. In addition to the bas relief at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, future recipients will include the Eglise Notre Dame de Carentan and Château de Sevigny
