The White Dog Cafe and WMMR’s Preston and Steve hosted the Seventh Annual Dining Out for the Dogs on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, starting at 5 pm to raise funds for Alpha Bravo Canine, ™ Philadelphia’s first and only 501(c)3 organization that donates service dogs to US veterans suffering from debilitating medical and psychological problems as a result of their active combat duty.

 WMMR, BEN FM, WMGK, WXTU, and The Fanatic on-air personalities were at each of the four suburban White Dog Cafe locations, the new White Dog Cafe Chester Spring in Exton, White Dog Cafe Wayne, White Dog Cafe Haverford, and White Dog Cafe Glen Mills, dining with guests and hosting drawings for prizes.

It is estimated that twenty percent of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or depression. Also, an alarming average of 22 veterans commit suicide every day here in the United States, that’s 8,030 in just one year. Alpha Bravo Canine™ was founded to help the local community of veterans. which provides trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other combat-related disabilities.

1. Steve Perras brought Mae, a Black Lab, to White Dog Wayne for the annual event. Jennifer Lynn Robinson paused for a photo with them! 

2. Jennifer Coffey, Davinder Athwal and Jeremy Bond toasted the event!

3. Morgan Smith held a Titus Vodka Top Shelf promotion during the annual event!

4. While they waited for dinner to be served on White Dog Wayne’s patio Jeremy Peirce (back right)  looked on as Noah Cusack cuddled Puff, a Pomerian, and Deirdre Cusack made sure that Wally, a Beagle Mix, had his bowl of water handy!

5. Chris Manning brought  “Archie”  to the fundraiser and Archie ignored the other dogs as he calmly  posed for his photo!   It was another  successful Dining Out for the Dogs event!
