Devon Horse Show’s rich history and legacy discussed during Trophy Cup reception
On Saturday, October 5, The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair (DHSCF) hosted an evening reception dedicated to the rich history of the Devon Horse Show. This event offered a unique opportunity to view and learn the legacy behind the prestigious DHSCH trophy collection in an intimate setting.
For 129 years champions have been crowned and storied legacies have been written at The Devon Horse Show. Names of the sport’s most celebrated athletes are etched into the historical trophies, helping to tell the history of America’s horse show. The evening included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and music with a special presentation by the Senior VP of NYC’s Doyle Auction House, Mr. Todd Sell. This special event celebrated DHSCF’s more than a century-long tradition of presenting trophies to its Champion riders. It invited attendees to continue this tradition by sponsoring a Devon Horse Show trophy. This is a beautiful way to gain visibility and exposure as the trophies are recognized annually during the award ceremonies, in media coverage, and in promotional materials. This exposure can continue beyond the event through highlights, replays, and archival footage.
