Chestnut Hill Community Association holds Philadelphia’s longest running holiday house tour
Chestnut Hill Community Association held Philadelphia’s longest running holiday tour on Saturday, December 14, 2024 The holiday season is a time to relive cherished traditions, and for Chestnut Hill, there is no better tradition than spending a day enjoying the Holiday House Tour. The annual tour featured the area’s loveliest historic homes decorated inside and out for the holidays. Attendees had the option of riding the event trolley from stop to stop or visiting at their own pace in this self-guided tour. This event is a major fundraiser for the Chestnut Hill Community Association and helps them provide services to the community throughout the year.

1. Attendees checked in at St. Joseph’s Hall on the Chestnut Hill College Campus to pick up their maps, wristbands, and booties. They were welcomed there by Chestnut Hill Community Association volunteers

5. This was a self-guided tour – drive your car, or ride the festive event trolley. The event trolleys stopped at each house on the tour and along Germantown Avenue. Attendees made it a day in Chestnut Hill! Many restaurants and shops offered discounts for Christmas Holiday House Tour attendees.
