The Main Line Committee for The Philadelphia Orchestra announces the return of the Notable Kitchen Tour & Chefs’ Tastings on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This popular self-guided tour of the Main Line’s most unique kitchens is presented for the twelfth time since 2009 for the benefit of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
Each of the kitchens in the western suburbs will showcase a “notable” local chef offering a variety of samples of their cuisine for tasting by tour attendees. Returning to the tour is American Culinary Federation “Chef of the Year” winner Joe Koye of Wild Blue Creative Catering, the first to be included this year. Also returning are classically trained Chef Mason Snyder of Feast Your Eyes Catering, whose kitchen experience spans the globe from Pennsylvania to Prague; comfort food made healthier from ANEU Kitchens’ Founder Meridith Coyle and Josh Hannon; and award-winning At the Table’s Owner and Executive Chef Tara Buzan. New to the tour are Four Season’s alumnus Denny Santiago, Executive Chef of Marquis by Denny Santiago at Union League Liberty Hill; and Executive Chef Jose Galicia, formerly of The ChopHouse, who heads the kitchen at DePaul’s Table.
Florists will provide beautiful flower arrangements to accentuate each home’s decor. They include Chrissy Piombino Bennett of StudioFlora; Melissa Parker of Amaranth Florist; Anne Schmitt of Anne Schmitt Florals; Sherrerd Steele of Steele Orchid; Priscilla Fosnacht of Flowers by Priscilla; and Barbara King of Valley Forge Flowers. In addition, attendees will be inspired by viewing unique table settings, including those by Audrey Kese of Kese Interiors; Betsy Michau of M&M Interior Redesign; Marie Cosgrove of Ruby Tableaux; Li Halpern of Li Halpern Events LTD; and Pat Nogar of Living Well with Pat Nogar.
Valuable raffle baskets will be displayed in the homes. You could win a $1000 gift certificate from CertaPro Painters, tickets to a show at People’s Light, Philadelphia Orchestra tickets, wine baskets, and many more items!
Proceeds from the tour will support the education and outreach programs of The Philadelphia Orchestra. Major participating sponsors who have committed to these endeavors this year are Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery and Kountry Kraft.
On the morning of the tour, attendees receive a program book that includes a map showing where the homes are located as well as historical information about them. Please visit www.notablekitchens.org for information on buying tickets as well as for frequent updates regarding tour participants and sponsors.
